Matthew Stewart, CFP®, ChFC®

With over 25 years of industry experience, Matthew focuses his practice on helping clients achieve their financial independence. As President of the firm, he established Forestview Financial Partners to provide investors with a truly personal planning experience. He is skilled in an array of financial disciplines, from retirement and estate planning to business exit strategies, and specializes in portfolio management.

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) practitioner and Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) designee, Matthew works holistically across a wide variety of subject areas when analyzing his clients' financial situation and providing recommendations. He draws on his years of institutional experience to help individuals and families take command of their financial lives.

Matthew is a member of the Financial Planning Association, having served the Central Ohio chapter as a board member from 2006-2012 and as its President in 2008.  He is also a member of the Worthington Estate Planning Council.

Actively involved in his community, Matthew is an avid supporter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, where he has previously served as a Central Ohio regional board member. Since 2012, he has worked with the Salvation Army of Central Ohio to help raise tens-of-thousands annually for their local food pantry program. Outside of the office, Matthew enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, boating on Norris Lake, and shooting sporting-clays. He recently picked up learning how to fly airplanes and is a student pilot.
